Batch Processing Argument: MS Query

Hi there,

I am working on updating the Batch Processing Arguments to see if I can utilize MS Query. I'm not overly familiar with MS Query so I'd love some feedback on where I might be going wrong.

I'm trying to replace the msqid with the commented out line below. What I want is to be able to say I only want records where the record ID(fid3) is less than a specific number but greater than another specific number.

Any insight is greatly appreciated!

  • you almost had it....too many "("'s and NO spaces except the first space before msqry

    try this

    & " msqry={'3'.GT.0}AND{'3'.LT.5}"

  • Hey Keith,

Thank you so much for the edits. This works and will save us a significant amount of time!

I have one last question. When processing batches, what is the maximum number of batch processes requests we should make at one time?

For context, we have approximately 800 batch processes requests that we need to trigger and each of these requests will contain a batch of 100 (1 page document) records.
